Play-Fi for Windows Updated

The Windows app has been around for quite some time for our PC users, allowing them to essentially mirror audio from their Windows laptops or desktops, offering a world of audiovisual benefits. It's still one of the more popular options among users for playing audio to their Play-Fi audio products. Today's update, which can be downloaded here, offers some nice additions and fixes to make the experience better.

Probably the biggest addition to this new version is multiroom audio for video content. The Windows app was one of the first places we added audio mirroring for video content and stayed in sync with what you saw on the screen, and we've expanded that over the years in the Play-Fi app for mobile and TV with Multiroom TV Audio and Play-Fi Surround on sound bars and TVs. Now, we've extended that back to where it all started, in the Windows app.

In addition, you can also connect to your desktop using the Play-Fi Headphones app, and stream directly to your mobile device, or a connected pair of headphones, and the audio, as always, will stay in sync with what you see on the screen. You get the benefit of Wi-Fi quality audio, and whole home range, so you can get up, get a snack, and never miss a moment!

There are some additional UI improvements and functional improvements in there as well to ensure modern compatibility with newer systems, so regardless, if haven't already, be sure to grab the latest version of the Play-Fi app for Windows right here!
